The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) is pleased to introduce its 2018 Annual Report, entitled: Accelerating Vaccines Critical to Global Health.
With this Report, we are proud to present the progress made and milestones achieved in 2018. Highlights include the growing impact of the world’s first low-cost oral cholera vaccine, expanding development and support for clinical trials and studies of Typhoid and MERS vaccines, and celebrating our strong existing and new partnerships. The Report further details our continued efforts to discover, develop, and deliver safe, effective, and affordable vaccines for global public health; and provides updates on our essential research and capacity building programs, finances, partners and leadership. This edition also features IVI’s contributions to accomplishing the sustainable development goals (SDGs), our brand-new strategy towards 2021, as well as new initiatives.
Reflecting on 21 years of success in advancing global health, IVI continues to move forward with its unchanging vision and mandate to help developing countries tackle infectious diseases and improve public health through vaccines and immunization.
